Internship
Our internship is designed to give you first-hand experience of working in an international law firm. The Tokyo office engages capabilities from across our global network to provide a mix of global expertise and local knowledge for Japanese clients. Some of our practice groups have global teams with presence in Europe, Asia and Australia, which offers students and graduates a unique and truly international working experience.
What we can offer you
Overseas secondment
The 2-week programme includes a one-week overseas secondment to our London office or one of our offices in Australia, offering you the opportunity to work in both our Tokyo office and abroad.
Practical insight
You will experience the process of a commercial deal or transaction, giving you an insight into the day to day role of working in a global network.

The recruitment process
To be eligible you need to have a strong academic record. Strong English and Japanese skills are required and any additional foreign language skills are welcome.
If you haven't met this criteria and there are mitigating circumstances there will be an opportunity for you to provide us with this information in your application.
