Chris Bates, a Partner in our London Digital Economy team, presented our Contracts: What's Hot, What's Not series on 12 July 2022.
During the webinar Chris considered a Court of Appeal decision relevant to exclusion clauses and the dividing line between direct and indirect loss; various cases on confidentiality and privacy and how to address prevention and breaches; practical pointers on boilerplate clauses such as force majeure, no oral variation, no waiver and notice provisions, and finished with a Supreme Court decision on governing law as applicable to arbitration under a contract.
