Alison specialises in real estate disputes across the commercial real estate sector with a particular specialism in development disputes, property insolvency and JV disputes.
She is experienced in all aspects of commercial real estate including development issues (rights to light, site assembly, nuisance, overage/profit share dispute, restrictive covenants, adverse possession, development constraints, planning disputes, conditionality, easements) and property-related corporate insolvencies/ distressed M&A. She regularly advises on investment disputes (asset management disputes such as dilapidations, rent reviews, disputed lease renewals and contractual disputes), infrastructure, utilities, telecoms, data centres and logistics.
Alison is frequently published in the property press, speaks at and chairs national conferences and is ranked as a leading Real Estate Litigation lawyer by The Legal 500 and Chambers UK. She is also a Non-Executive Director.
