Anthony is a renewable energy and decarbonisation expert, having advised a range of private and public sector clients on numerous high profile projects in the hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, waste to energy, biomass to energy, nuclear and other renewable energy and decarbonisation sectors, both in the UK and internationally.
Anthony is a leading lawyer in the regulatory and contractual aspects of the Government's Electricity Market Reform and the Contracts for Difference regime which underpin the economics of many of these projects, and which Anthony has been instrumental in adapting for various novel business models as part of his role advising the UK Government on its CCUS and Hydrogen programmes.
In addition to advising the UK Government on these programmes, Anthony's experience including advising on the Hinkley Point C Nuclear New Build Project, the Dukovany II Nuclear New Build Project, the South Clyde EfW Project, the Westfield EfW Project, the Earls Gate EfW (CHP) Project, the Kemsley EfW (CHP) Project and the North Wales Residual Waste Treatment Project.
