Bob Santamaria is a consultant in our Board Advisory practice
Bob was Group General Counsel at ANZ Banking Group Ltd (ANZ) from 2007 until 2019. His time at ANZ commenced with the Global Financial Crisis and concluded with Bob leading ANZ's response to the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry.
Prior to joining ANZ, Bob was a Corporate Partner for more than 20 years at a large international law firm, including as a member of its Executive Committee.
Over the course of Bob's 40+ year career, he has provided corporate governance advice to the Boards of many large ASX listed companies. He is highly regarded for his deep expertise, passion and engaging interpersonal style. He possesses a unique appreciation for the dynamics in the boardroom, and as between the Board and Senior Management.
Bob provides strategic advisory and governance consulting services to ASX 200 companies. This includes undertaking Board Performance Reviews, General Counsel / Chief Legal Officer coaching, and the provision of general governance advice.
