Cédric Gamambaye Dionmou is a senior associate in our projects and energy transition group in Paris
Cédric advises lenders, borrowers, sponsors, governments and public entities on greenfield and brownfield projects in France and abroad (including Türkiye, the Stans, North Africa, GCC countries and sub-Saharan Africa).
His practice focuses on the development, the financing, the acquisition and the refinancing of energy (renewable and/or conventional) and infrastructure projects, as well as on complex hybrid multi-tranche bank debt and/or capital markets financing and ECA-backed and sovereign financing transactions. Cédric has been involved in several ground-breaking and award-winning transactions in multiple jurisdictions.
Cédric is ranked by Legal 500 EMEA 2024 as a "Rising Star" in Project Finance in the French market. Clients have noted that "Cédric Gamambaye Dionmou was a great asset in this transaction. Prior to joining Ashurst, Cédric was an associate in the project finance departments of Gide and Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in Paris. He was also seconded to the legal department of TotalEnergies Renewables for more than a year.
Admitted to the Paris Bar as an avocat, Cédric holds a Master 2 in Project Finance and Structured Finance from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, a Master 2 in Financial Law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and an LL.M in International Financial Law from King's College of London.
