Between 2015 and 2020 Dyfan led Ashurst's disputes practice in the Middle East. He specialises in construction disputes arising out of the engineering, infrastructure and construction sectors and has advised on a number of high value disputes for clients in the Middle East and globally. Dyfan has widespread experience in the resolution of disputes by arbitration; expert determination, adjudication and mediation. Dyfan also sits as an arbitrator.
Recent matters on which Dyfan has acted include disputes and international arbitration relating to the construction and operation of several power plants in the Middle East, the construction of an airport in a GCC state, the construction of telecommunications infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, the construction of an offshore wind farm project in the UK and the construction of a petrochemical plant in the Caribbean.
