Emma Tormey is a senior associate in our disputes, investigations & advisory practice
Emma was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2015 and trained at an international law firm in Perth, Western Australia, before moving to the UAE in 2018 where she is currently based.
Since relocating to the UAE, Emma has acted for clients on complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes across the region, including the DIFC, ADGM and onshore UAE, as well as the broader Middle East and Africa. She has also spent time seconded to an international technology company in the UAE.
Emma specialises in commercial disputes, and has a particular interest in international arbitration and has acted as the lead Associate in arbitrations under the major institutional rules. She also sits as an arbitrator.
