Peter Turner-Kerr is a senior of counsel in our EU competition practice
Peter is a Senior Counsel in our competition team. He joined the firm in 2019 from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), where he was a Director in the Merger Investigations Branch and led a number of significant merger reviews, including, for example, the Siemens-Alstom and Tronox-Cristal transactions.
Peter has 25 years of experience in advising on many aspects of EU/EEA law and competition law and regulation, across a variety of sectors, both contentious and non-contentious, both as a regulator and in private practice. In addition to the EU and Australia, he has experience in the UK and Spain.
Peter's work over the past few years has been dominated by the follow-on damages Trucks cartel litigation before the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal for claimant Ryder Limited and its subsidiary, Hill Hire, against the major Truck manufacturers in Europe, and various football-related matters involving world and European football governing bodies, FIFA and UEFA. Peter has published widely.
