Sophia specialises in cross-border acquisition and leverage financing and corporate lending. Sophia's experience includes financing of public takeovers, bid financing and syndicated lending.
She has particular expertise acting on cross-border leveraged and acquisition finance transactions and has a broad range of experience in the international finance field, representing banks, funds and corporations in a wide range of banking and finance matters. Her notable transactions include advising a syndicate of banks in connection with Sainsbury's £1.2bn proposed acquisition of Home Retail Group plc and advising JBIC, NEXI and commercial lenders in relation to the £4.5bn Intercity Express Programme.
