Sophia's experience includes financing of public takeovers, bid financing and syndicated lending. </p> <p>She has particular expertise acting on cross-border leveraged and acquisition finance transactions and has a broad range of experience in the international finance field, representing banks, funds and corporations in a wide range of banking and finance matters. Her notable transactions include advising a syndicate of banks in connection with Sainsbury's &pound;1.2bn proposed acquisition of Home Retail Group plc and advising JBIC, NEXI and commercial lenders in relation to the &pound;4.5bn Intercity Express Programme.</p> <p>Sophia is qualified in Australia (New South Wales)</p>
