Tess specialises in commercial law, procurement and outsourcing, particularly in relation to Defence, technology and social services projects. Tess has worked on some of the highest value procurement projects conducted by the Australian government in recent times, including those with a global supply chain and national footprint. Tess is experienced at developing and advising on complex acquisition and services contracts, inter-governmental agreements and funding arrangements. Tess regularly advises on the application of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and probity principles. Tess values strong working relationships with clients and has a reputation for providing excellent technical advice with a firm appreciation of the strategic and political context in which clients are operating.
