Tom Connor is a partner and global head of disputes, investigations & advisory
Tom is the global head of the disputes, investigations and advisory division. He specialises in advising major investment banks, financial services firms and corporates in connection with internal and regulatory investigations and related disciplinary proceedings and disputes.
He has particular expertise in advising clients on derivatives and structured product disputes and wealth management claims. He also regularly advises on investigations into suspected market abuse.
Tom acted for the sub-prime lenders Cattles and Welcome in their claim against PwC in one of the largest and most high profile recent cases in the English Courts. He also worked on important and high-profile regulatory action for Moss Bros in respect of proceedings before the Takeover Panel in May/June 2020 and a financial services firm in relation to a regulatory investigation arising out of trading of large stock positions.
