Tony Denholder is a partner in our planning, environment and first nations practice
Tony specialises in energy and resources and government with a recognised specialty expertise in native title law. For the last two decades, he has advised on the development and operation of some of Australia's largest energy, infrastructure, and resources projects. This has included the development of new mine, gas, LNG, pipeline, port and rail projects.
He has advised companies in the mining sector for over 15 years including Rio Tinto. His practice focuses on the development of new mine and related infrastructure projects, including port and rail developments.
Tony is also the joint Practice Head of Ashurst's Native Title practice, the only practice in Australia ranked Band 1 by Chambers Asia-Pacific every year since 2007.
