Ashurst advises Equitix on €271,000,000 hybrid renewable energy system financing

Global law firm Ashurst has advised Equitix on the €271,000,000 innovative financing, granted by Banco Santander, for the refinancing, construction and development of a hybridized renewable energy portfolio.
It constitutes the first financing of a hybridisation combining three technologies - wind, solar and battery storage - in Spain. This strategic transaction underscores Ashurst's commitment to accompanying our clients in their most innovative sustainable initiatives. The combined capacity of the asset is over 326MW and will allow substantial savings of CO2 emissions.
