Ashurst represents Singapore's healthcare provider HMI Group on its investment into Harley Street

Global law firm Ashurst advised Health Management International ("HMI Group"), a Southeast Asian focussed regional private healthcare provider backed by EQT and funded by Apollo Hybrid Value Funds, on its investment into Harley Street Heart & Vascular Centre, a leading private cardiovascular service provider in Singapore, reinforcing its ambition to provide one-stop healthcare services and capabilities to patients in Singapore and the region.

Established in 2012, Harley Street is the first combined heart and vascular group in Singapore offering multidisciplinary specialist care for patients with cardiovascular diseases. It operates four centres in Singapore and one in Cambodia. Harley Street offers a comprehensive range of subspecialities including advanced cardiovascular imaging, cardiac electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, heart failure and preventive cardiology, and vascular surgery.

Ashurst's Southeast Asia head of M&A Tao Koon Chiam commented, "We are pleased to be a key part of the inorganic growth strategy of Health Management International, acting for them across jurisdictions and the healthcare value chain."

The transaction was led by Ashurst ADTLaw director Tao Koon Chiam, supported by Lisa Hui, Zheng Kai Chok and Stefanie Loh.
