National Minimum and Living Wage rates increase (including the Apprentice Rate).
EU travellers to the UK now require an Electronic Travel Authorisation.
The deadline for publishing gender pay gap data as at the snapshot date of 5 April 2024 (for private and voluntary sector employers with at least 250 employees).
Prescribed rates of shared parental pay, maternity pay, paternity pay, adoption pay and parental bereavement pay increase £184.03 per week to £187.18 per week.
Prescribed rate of statutory sick pay increases from £116.75 per week to £118.75.
The maximum week's pay used to calculate statutory redundancy payments will increase from £700 to £719.
Changes to unfair dismissal limits come into effect.
Employees now have the right to neonatal leave and pay.
