The "Ashurst Group" comprises Ashurst LLP, Ashurst Australia and their respective affiliates which are authorised to use the name "Ashurst" or describe themselves as being in association with Ashurst. Except where otherwise stated, references in the Legal Notices and elsewhere on this website to "Ashurst" and to "we" and "us" are references to one or more of the members of the Ashurst Group as the context requires.

Ashurst LLP is a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales under number OC330252. It is a law firm authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority ("SRA") of England and Wales under number 468653. A list of the members of Ashurst LLP and their professional qualifications is open to inspection at the registered office, London Fruit & Wool Exchange, 1 Duval Square, London, E1 6PW, England. The term "partner" is used to refer to a member of Ashurst LLP or to an employee or consultant with equivalent standing and qualifications or to an individual with equivalent status in one of Ashurst LLP's affiliates.

Ashurst Australia (ABN 75 304 286 095) is a general partnership constituted under the laws of the Australian Capital Territory.

Changes to Ashurst since 1 November 2007

Before 1 November 2007, Ashurst was a general partnership constituted under the laws of England and Wales. Some documents available through this website were produced before 1 November 2007. Nothing in those documents is to be taken to indicate that Ashurst LLP or any of its limited liability affiliates are unlimited liability undertakings or general partnerships.

On 1 March 2012 Ashurst combined its practices in Asia with the Australian law firm Ashurst Australia (formerly Blake Dawson) followed on 1 November 2013 by full financial integration of the two firms.

Non-legal services

Certain entities within the Ashurst Group provide non-legal services, which are clearly identified as such in the applicable terms of engagement. The services provided by these entities do not constitute legal services or legal advice.

None of the other members of the Ashurst Group has any liability or responsibility in any way for any acts or omissions of the entities which provide non-legal services.

Confidentiality and privilege

Each member of the Ashurst Group will preserve clients' confidentiality and legal professional privilege. Ashurst Group members may exchange your information with each other for Ashurst Group purposes including but not limited to the provision of advice and other work done for you. The information you provide to us may also, on a confidential basis, be disclosed or transferred to, or used by, third party service providers including legal process outsourcers and hosting service providers, including in circumstances where such providers are located in another country.
