Caroline Hogan is a counsel in our digital economy transactions practice
Caroline is a highly experienced practitioner who focuses on information technology and commercial contracting and procurement, privacy, cyber security and the protection and commercialisation of data.
Caroline has extensive negotiation, advice and drafting experience in relation to all aspects of technology, commercial and telecommunication matters with a particular focus on large scale digital infrastructure and key business systems transactions, strategic technology and commercial procurements and outsourcing and data sharing arrangements. Caroline also has experience advising on complex technology, system and data separation challenges arising in the context of acquisitions and disposals. She regularly leads complex and high value critical digital transformation and modernisation transactions for a diverse range of private and public sector clients including 7-Eleven, Toll, Nippon Life, Bupa, RACV, RACWA, Westpac, CBA, NEC, Monash University and local, State and Federal Governments.
In addition to her transactional practice, Caroline has significant experience advising on EU privacy law (including the GDPR) and Australian privacy matters including privacy compliance, data breaches, cyber security and regulatory requirements including CPS 231 and 230 and data transfer agreements.
