Julian Lim is a senior associate in our dispute resolution practice
Julian has significant expertise in international dispute resolution, with a particular focus on international commercial arbitration.
He has represented major clients across the energy, oil & gas, power, construction, engineering & infrastructure, technology, and financial services sectors.
Legal 500 (2025) have described Julian as "an excellent associate" and "a great lawyer, who can pinpoint what is most important to the case, as well as being able to manage a large team to tight deadlines".
Julian is currently based in Singapore. Prior to that, he spent six years in our London office advising on disputes relating to some of the most high-profile projects in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region. Julian has represented clients before leading arbitration institutions such as the SIAC, ICC, and LCIA, as well as in court proceedings in the High Court of England and Wales.
Julian is a member of the AAA's ICDR Singapore Committee, as well as an associate member of Practical Law's Consultation Board on Arbitration. He is also currently a committee member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb) Young Practitioners' Network, with a focus on engaging young arbitration practitioners through various events and initiatives.
Julian is qualified in England & Wales.
