Global law firm Ashurst has advised International Schools Partnership (ISP) on its acquisition of 90% of the issued share capital of Durham School for Girls Doha, a leading private British curriculum school and the only all-female British school in Qatar.

ISP is a global group of 95+ international schools across 25 countries.

The completion of the acquisition is another testament to ISP's tremendous growth and reflects Ashurst's continued success in advising key global and regional school operators and investors on their transactions in the education sector in the Gulf Cooperation Council and wider Middle East region.

The Ashurst team was led by partners Simon Rahimzada and Vasi Papadopoulos, supported by senior associate Zaid Al Rizzo, associates Dasith Vithanage and Layla Kimmie, and trainee Zahra Wilson.
