Global law firm Ashurst has advised JAPEX on the proposed sale of its UK subsidiary, which holds an interest in the UKCS Seagull field, to Ithaca Energy plc.
JAPEX holds a 15% interest in the Seagull field, located in the central UK North Sea, through its subsidiary JAPEX UK E&P Limited. The proposed sale will increase Ithaca Energy's working interest in Seagull from 35% to 50%.
